Synopsis
Butterfly tells the musical tale of a woman, whose personality is overwhelmed by the severe physical and verbal abuse by her father, that she can't talk to men. As her story of abuse is shared with Professor Jake Kelly, a behavioral psychologist, he uses professional techniques to help her reach out and overcome her tragic childhood. The play sees her change from an inhibited, frightened woman to a strong partner in a new relationship with a musician, himself having been abused during his now dissolved marriage.
